HELLENIC – AMERICAN SECURITIES & ASSET MANAGEMENT S.A. was founded in 1990 and has since been a member of the Athens Stock Exchange. It has henceforth evolved into the listed company HELLENIC EXCHANGES – ATHENS STOCK EXCHANGE (ATHEX, which is the parent company of corporate groups that support the operation of the Greek Capital Market. The Company also participates in the INVESTOR COMPENSATION FUND, which aims to support the stability and reliability of the market of investments services function.
The Company, started its activity in 1990 with initial capitals of 0,2 million euros and staffed with an experienced and specialized workforce, managed to increase the same capital in a twenty-year period (1990 –2012), claiming a prominent position in the Greek Investment Services Market.
In 2012, the Company, with a share capital of 2,25 million euros and with main shareholder the Chairman, Mr. Lampros Skiadopoulos, restructured its investment services by introducing new investment products, the range of which meets the modern investment needs of its clients.
Our Company is an Advisor of ENA (Alternative Markert of the Stock Exchange of Athens), which is directed towards small and medium-sized enterprises and companies that demonstrate dynamism and growth potential and are in the early stages of their business development. Additionally, it provides Specialized Negotiator services for selected stocks on the Athens Stock Exchange.
Moreover, through its bond desk, we offer institutional and private investors access to a wide range of bond securities-governmental and corporate- in all currencies.
Simultaneously, our Company collaborates with one of the largest, internationally recognized firm (which is listed in NASDAQ) to handle and execute its clients’ transactions in the International Market.
The company’s goal is to serve as a Prime Broker Dealer (PBD) and Asset Management Company (AM) for its clients on a global scale, based in Athens. The Company invests in both human resources and technology, to provide contemporary, reliable and safe investment services to its clients.
